With the New Year comes changes... this needed to be one of them. Why you may want to know?? There's a long & short answer (as there is with everything but since we're all busy, let's go short).
It wasn't being used the way it was intended. Like 90% of people were on special notice. I don't send special notices. I still got emails about things that I posted, so people weren't really paying attention anyways.
Basically, with getting more active with FB & Twitter (short versions group messages & quickie posts) the yahoo group seemed obsolete and I've got the same people on there too. And since I've spent hundreds of hours on a website that has all the information people ask for anyways, I was always replying to messages... instead of writing. So one had to go, the yahoo group got the short straw, lol.
But on the plus side I've got more time to be better at FB, Twitter, & website.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Joyee! I think that most of the activity is moving away from the yahoo groups to blogs and FB. I personally just started getting more active on FB and I think it more fun and the interaction is much faster, because yahell was acting up so often. Not that FB is without any problems. LOL

Do you have twitter Joyee?? I been searching can't see anything with your name and I want to *follow* you if you have twitter, I find it difficult enough tracking individuals on Facebook, so twitter might work better for me
